Q: What is the Property Tax Postponement Program?
A: A qualified homeowner can defer payment of all or part of his or her property taxes on your house, condo, or mobile home. This deferred
payment is a lien on the property and becomes due upon sale, change of residence, or death.
Q: How do I qualify for this program?
A: In order to qualify, you must be legally blind,
disabled, or 62 or older. Your annual household income must be
$24,000 or less and you must occupy the property as your principal
place of residence. The annual filing period is May 15 through December
